The Salvation Army UK and Ireland Territory in Birmingham is seeking an experienced Communications and Engagement Lead for a fixed-term 12-month contract, working 30 hours per week at the Birmingham office.

You will develop and deliver the communications and stakeholder engagement strategy for the SVMS mobilisation, lead internal programme communications and manage external partner relationships to establish branding and messaging as the new prime contractor ahead of service commencement.

Formación

• Significant experience in communications, public affairs or stakeholder engagement.
• Track record delivering communications strategies for complex organisational change.
• Excellent written communication; producing briefings and intranet content.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and deliver a comprehensive Communications and Engagement Plan for the full mobilisation period.
• Lead internal programme communications to keep the mobilisation team informed and motivated.
• Manage communications with key stakeholders including the Home Office, NRM referral organisations, and partners.
• Lead communications for the transition from the incumbent supplier and support a smooth handover.
• Develop and deliver the Change Management Plan for staff and partners through the transition.
• Prepare high-quality briefings to support Authority engagement.
• Maintain stakeholder mapping and coordinate messaging with supply chain partners.
