Job summary

TeacherActive Limited is seeking a Welsh Speaking 1-1 Teaching Assistant for a couple of Welsh-speaking primary schools in Llanymynech and surrounding areas. The role is part-time with an immediate start, supporting pupils from Foundation Phase through KS2 in a Welsh-medium environment.

The successful candidate will provide individual learning support, help with classroom activities, and assist pupils to engage with the Welsh-medium curriculum.

Qualifications

• Fluent Welsh language skills and ability to communicate confidently in Welsh.
• Experience supporting children in a primary school setting.
• Experience providing 1-1 support to pupils with varying abilities.
• Strong communication and behaviour management skills.
• Patient, caring and adaptable approach to supporting children's development.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual learning support across Foundation Phase to KS2.
• Assist with classroom activities and Welsh-medium curriculum.
• Support pupils to engage with lessons and stay on task.

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a couple of Welsh-speaking Primary School based in Llanymynech & surrounding areas, who are looking to appoint a Welsh Speaking 1-1 Assistant. These schools provides a Welsh-medium learning environment where pupils are encouraged to develop their confidence, independence and academic abilities. TeacherActive is looking to take on a dedicated Welsh Speaking 1-1 Assistant on a part-time basis, with an immediate start available. The successful Welsh Speaking 1-1 Assistant will support pupils across Foundation Phase to Key Stage 2 / KS2, providing individual learning support, assisting with classroom activities and helping pupils engage with the Welsh-medium curriculum. The successful Welsh Speaking 1-1 Assistant will have:

• The ability to communicate confidently and fluently in Welsh
• Experience supporting children within a primary school setting
• Experience providing 1-1 support to pupils with varying learning abilities
• Strong communication and behaviour management skills
• A patient, caring and adaptable approach to supporting children's development
