Tp-Tutors in Northumberland (NE21) is seeking a dedicated 1:1 SEN Tutor to support a student with SEN. You will deliver personalised tuition, adapt lessons to the learner's needs, and help them progress academically and socially.

Are you an experienced and passionate 1:1 Tutor looking for a rewarding opportunity in Northumberland?
We are looking for a dedicated tutor to provide personalised 1:1 tuition to a student with SEN, helping them build confidence, develop their academic skills, and make positive progress in their education.
Deliver engaging and personalised 1:1 tuition tailored to the student's SEN needs.
Plan lessons around the student's individual abilities, learning style, and targets.
Use appropriate strategies to support learning and engagement.
Support the student's academic progress, confidence, and emotional wellbeing.
Manage behaviour positively and create a safe, supportive learning environment.
Monitor progress and provide regular feedback.
Work collaboratively with the school and wider support team.
Previous experience working with SEN students is essential.
Experience delivering 1:1 tuition or teaching in an educational setting.
Strong understanding of differentiated and personalised learning.
Excellent communication and behaviour-management skills.
Relevant teaching/tutoring qualifications are desirable.
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one.
Right to work in the UK.
