Job summary

Tp-Tutors is seeking compassionate 1:1 SEN Tutors to provide personalised tuition in the Northallerton area (DL6). The role offers flexible, part-time hours during school weekdays and an engaging opportunity to support children with SEN including ASC, ADHD, SEMH, and dyslexia.

You will deliver tailored one-to-one sessions, adapt lessons to individual needs, and monitor progress, while building confidence and independence in learners within a safe, inclusive environment.

Qualifications

  • Experience working with children or young people with SEN.
  • Previous teaching, tutoring, or classroom support experience.
  • Strong communication and behaviour management skills.
  • A patient, empathetic, and flexible approach to supporting learners.
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
  • Right to work in the UK.

  • Plan and adapt lessons to meet each learner's individual needs, abilities, and learning objectives.
  • Support pupils with SEN using creative, differentiated, and evidence-based teaching strategies.

Are you passionate about making a positive difference in the lives of children and young people with Special Educational Needs (SEN)? TP Tutors is seeking compassionate and dedicated 1:1 SEN Tutors to provide personalised tuition to pupils in the Northallerton (DL6) area.

This rewarding role involves delivering tailored one-to-one support to learners with a range of additional needs, including Autism (ASC), ADHD, SEMH, dyslexia, and other learning differences. You will play a key role in helping students build confidence, overcome barriers to learning, and achieve their individual educational goals.

This position offers flexible, part-time hours during weekdays, making it ideal for qualified teachers, experienced tutors, teaching assistants, or education professionals.
