Job summary

Prospero Teaching is seeking a dedicated tutor in Morecambe to support vulnerable and disengaged pupils. You will create and deliver 1:1 tailored lessons to bridge gaps in KS3 or KS4, helping raise engagement and attainment in a home or community setting.

The role is part-time and contract-based, with start date ASAP and ongoing. You will need QTS or equivalent or tutoring experience, and a creative, patient approach, with experience or willingness to work with SEND pupils.

Qualifications

• QTS or equivalent or tutoring experience.
• UK classroom teaching experience preferred but not essential.
• Be creative, patient and willing to think outside of the box.
• Have experience working with SEND or disengaged pupils.

Responsibilities

• Create and deliver 1:1 tailored lessons for KS3/KS4.
• Bridge gaps and boost engagement and attainment in pupils.
• Work in the community or pupils' home setting.
• Support vulnerable, disengaged and at-risk pupils.
