Job summary

TP Tutors in Dorset seeks dedicated SEN Tutors to provide one-to-one tuition for learners with autism, ADHD, SEMH and other needs in schools, community venues or homes.

Deliver personalised lessons with flexible part-time or full-time opportunities, earning £25–£30 per hour. You will receive specialist SEND training, dedicated consultant support and opportunities to make a meaningful local impact.

TP Tutors is recruiting dedicated SEN Tutors to provide one-to-one tuition across Dorset.

Support learners with autism, ADHD, SEMH and other additional needs by delivering personalised tuition that builds confidence, engagement and academic progress.

Location: Dorset
Contract: Flexible part-time and full-time opportunities
Pay: £25–£30 per hour
Delivery: One-to-one tuition in schools, community venues or learners' homes

Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Deliver personalised one-to-one tuition
• Adapt lessons to meet individual learning needs
• Build learners' confidence and encourage independent learning
• Monitor and record learner progress
• Develop positive relationships with families, schools and other professionals

Essential Requirements

• Experience working with children or young people within both mainstream and SEN/SEND settings
• Previous experience in tutoring, teaching, education, mentoring, youth work or a similar role
• Good understanding of safeguarding practices
• Ability to travel across Dorset
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
