Job summary

Crowle CE Primary School is seeking a dedicated 1:1 teaching assistant to support a named pupil with special educational needs. You will work alongside the classroom teacher to deliver learning programmes, with occasional support for other pupils as directed by the Headteacher.

The role requires prior 1:1 TA experience and availability from 1 September 2026. You will contribute to a caring, collaborative school community and reflect the values of a Church school.

Job description

A 1:1 teaching assistant post at Crowle CE Primary School, supporting a named pupil with special educational needs. The work centres on individual support for that child, working alongside the classroom teacher to deliver programmes of learning, with occasional support for other pupils as the Headteacher directs. The post is funded through the child's EHCP, so it may be reviewed or ended if that funding changes. Prior experience as a 1:1 teaching assistant is required, with a start from 1 September 2026.
