Job summary

St Laurence’s Catholic Primary School invites applications for a dedicated Teaching Assistant to support pupils across the school, initially in year 5. The role requires working closely with the class teacher, following plans and targets, and contributing positively to school life within the Catholic ethos.

The successful candidate will have NVQ/NCFE Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification, be able to work flexibly, and understand the National Curriculum with competence in English and Maths.

Qualifications

• Must have completed the NVQ/NCFE Level 2 Teaching Assistants Course.
• Ability to work flexibly.
• Understanding of the National Curriculum and competence in English and Maths.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with the class teacher following plans and targets.
• Be able to work flexibly and as part of a team.
• Contribute to school life within the Catholic ethos of St Laurence’s Catholic Primary School.
• Support pupils across the school as required, initially in year 5.
