Job summary

Wood Field Primary School is seeking an enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to support pupil progress and well-being across the school. Working closely with teachers, you will help maintain a secure, enriching learning environment and remove barriers to learning through targeted support.

You will deliver one-to-one or small-group interventions in core subjects, help accelerate learning, and provide tailored assistance to pupils with EHCPs or other learning or behavioral needs.

Qualifications

• Experience working in a primary school environment.
• Outstanding organisational skills to ensure efficient and effective performance.
• Ability to establish good working relationships with pupils, colleagues and parents.

Responsibilities

• Deliver one-to-one or small-group interventions in core subjects like reading, writing, and phonics to help pupils of all abilities.
• Facilitate a learning experience which accelerates pupils' learning.
• Provide tailored assistance to pupils with EHCPs or identified learning, behavioral, or physical difficulties.
