Job summary

Wood Field Primary School is seeking an enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to support pupil progress and well-being across the school. Working closely with teachers, you will help maintain a secure, enriching learning environment and remove barriers to learning through targeted support.

You will deliver one-to-one or small-group interventions in core subjects, help accelerate learning, and provide tailored assistance to pupils with EHCPs or other learning or behavioral needs.

• Outstanding organisational skills to ensure efficient and effective performance.
• Ability to establish good working relationships with pupils, colleagues and parents.

What You Will Do As A 1-1 Teaching Assistant:

• Delivering one-to-one or small-group interventions in core subjects like reading, writing, and phonics to help pupils of all abilities.
• To facilitate and encourage a learning experience which provides pupils with the opportunity to accelerate with their learning.
• Providing tailored assistance to pupils with an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) or identified learning, behavioral, or physical difficulties.

We Are Looking For Someone Who:

• Has experience working in a primary school environment.
• Outstanding organisational skills to ensure efficient and effective implementation of the role.
• Able to establish good working relationships with a wide range of people - pupils, colleagues and parents
