Job summary

Coast and Vale Learning Trust invites applications for a Teaching Assistant Level 2 to support a student with complex cognition and learning needs. You will work 1:1 to enable access to learning, promote independence and wellbeing, alongside the SEND team in classrooms and targeted interventions.

The role emphasizes developing confidence, self-esteem and social inclusion, contributing to Learning and Wellbeing and SEND support across the school.

Qualifications

• Experience of working with children with MLD and SLD would be desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality 1:1 support tailored to a student’s individual learning, health and personal care needs.
• Work with teachers to support learning, engagement and academic progress.
• Deliver targeted interventions and support students within the Learning and Wellbeing Base.
