Job summary

Wrexham County Borough Council is seeking a Level 2 Teaching Assistant to join Minera VA School on a 30-hour temporary contract until the end of the Summer 2027 term, starting 1 September 2026. The role provides dedicated 1:1 support for a pupil in Key Stage 2 with medical needs, within the classroom and through targeted individual work.

The successful candidate will help promote engagement, independence and progress, while building positive relationships and contributing to an inclusive school

Qualifications

• Experience of working with pupils with medical needs at Key Stage 2.
• Ability to follow a prepared education plan and support learning activities.

Responsibilities

• Provide dedicated 1:1 support for a pupil in Key Stage 2 with medical needs.
• Support learning and development both in class and through targeted individual work.
