Job summary

Peakirk-cum-Glinton CE Primary School is seeking a compassionate Teaching Assistant Level 2 to support a pupil with complex needs 1:1, 10am-3pm, 25 hours across 5 days, 38 weeks a year. This fixed-term role until 31 August 2027 is an excellent opportunity to contribute to an inclusive, Christian ethos school.

Grade D3-4 £25614 FTE, £14,519.71 actual per annum

Your responsibilities will include:

• Providing 1:1 support for a pupil with complex needs, in line with their EHCP
• Supporting learning, communication, and social development
• Working closely with the class teacher, SENDCo, and external professionals
• Contributing to a nurturing and structured learning environment
• Communicating with families

We are looking for someone who is:

• Has good literacy, numeracy, and communication skills
• Has experience of early years and the early years curriculum
• A person who understands our children and our community and who is able to build supportive and respectful relationships with children whilst maintaining confidentiality and following the school's Code of Conduct;
• An energetic individual who smiles often, engages with the children and models the values and ethos of our school at all times.
