Job summary

TimePlan Education is seeking a dedicated Full-Time 1:1 Teaching Assistant to support a pupil in a Watford school. You will closely collaborate with the pupil and staff to deliver personalised learning, boost engagement and build confidence throughout the day.

Hours are Monday to Friday, 8:30am-3:30pm during term time; DBS on Update Service is desirable, right to work in the UK required, and references for the last 2 years will be requested.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working with children is desirable
• Must have a DBS on the Update Service, or be willing to apply for a DBS
• Must have the right to work in the UK
• Must be able to provide references covering the last 2 years
• Reliable, punctual and committed
• Caring, patient and enthusiastic
• Good communication skills
• Able to work Monday-Friday, 8:30am-3:30pm, term time only
• DBS cost refund after 20 days of work, subject to terms

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 support to a pupil in learning, engagement and activities in school
• Work closely with pupil and school staff to promote confidence and participation
• Support day-to-day activities within the school environment
