Job summary

Envision Education in Watford is seeking a full-time Unqualified SEND Teaching Assistant to support learning from 8:30am to 4:00pm, Monday to Friday. You will provide 1:1 support to pupils with SLD/Autism and help create a positive learning environment within a small team, with off-site activities and therapist support.

Applicants must have immediate availability, experience with children, a Child DBS or willingness to obtain one, and reside locally in Watford or nearby.

Qualifications

• Immediate availability.
• Experience working with children and a reference to support it.
• A CHILD ONLY DBS or willingness to obtain one.
• Live local to Watford or within a commutable distance.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 support to pupils with Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD)/Autism to help children meet their developmental milestones as a SEND Teaching Assistant.
• Help create a positive and engaging learning environment as a Unqualified SEND Teaching Assistant.
• Participate in off-site learning opportunities, supporting the children in varied settings.
• Build strong relationships with students and staff to prioritise progress as a Unqualified SEND Teaching Assistant.
