Protocol Education are looking for a dedicated 1:1 Teaching Assistant to support a pupil within a school in Peterlee.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys getting to know an individual pupil, understanding how they learn and providing the consistency and encouragement they need to succeed.
The successful candidate will become an important part of the pupil’s school day, working closely with the class teacher and wider SEND team.
You will:
The pupil may have Autism, ADHD, SEMH, learning difficulties, communication needs or other additional needs, depending on the individual placement.
We're looking for someone who is:
Previous 1:1 experience is desirable but not essential.
Transferable experience from care, youth work, mentoring, sports coaching, childcare or support work can be extremely valuable.
A driver would be particularly useful for this role due to the range of schools across Peterlee and the surrounding areas.
Driving is not essential, provided you can reliably travel to your placement every day.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
