Job summary

Aspire People in Horncastle is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to support pupils with special educational needs on a full-time basis. You will work closely with the class teacher to deliver inclusive lessons and support children with autism and ADHD.

We require empathy, patience, and strong teamwork, with safeguarding at the core. An enhanced DBS check is required for the successful candidate, with placements subject to child protection screening.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children or young people with special educational needs (desirable).
• Understanding of autism and ADHD, and strategies to support these needs.
• Patient, empathetic, and adaptable approach.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-to-one and small group support for pupils with additional needs

Hours: Full-Time, Monday to Friday, 08:30 - 15:30

About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to join our supportive school community in Horncastle. This is a full-time position, working closely with pupils who have special educational needs, including autism and ADHD. The successful candidate will play a key role in helping students access learning, develop social skills, and reach their full potential in a nurturing environment.
