Job summary

Vision for Education Ltd are recruiting a 1:1 Teaching Assistant to support a pupil in a Basildon primary school. You will work closely with the class teacher to provide individualised support and help the pupil access learning and participate in school life.

Experience as a TA or support worker in education is preferred, with additional needs experience (SEND/ ASD) being highly desirable. A patient, calm approach and strong communication are essential, plus reliability and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant or supporting children in an educational setting.
• Experience supporting pupils with SEND, ASD or additional needs is highly desirable
• A patient, calm and nurturing approach
