Job summary

Prospero Teaching is seeking a dedicated SEND Tutor in Runcorn to provide 1:1 educational support for young learners. The role focuses on tailoring sessions to individual needs and helping students progress academically and personally.

Applicants should have SEND experience and be able to build trust with learners. Hours are part-time (5–15 hours per week) with a September 2026 start, and the role requires eligibility to work in the UK and appropriate safeguarding checks.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children or young people with SEND.
• Teaching, tutoring or mentoring experience.
• Experience supporting SEMH, Autism, ADHD or other needs.
• Patient, understanding and adaptable approach.
• Strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide personalised 1:1 sessions adapting to learner's needs.
