Job summary

Prospero Teaching is seeking dedicated SEND Tutors to provide high-quality 1:1 tuition and support to children and young people across Manchester. The role involves delivering personalised tuition that is tailored to each learner's individual needs, helping them to re-engage with education, build confidence and make academic progress.

Alongside the tuition element, tutors may also support learners with developing key life skills, improving confidence, preparing for their future and helping them

Qualifications

• QTS or equivalent teaching qualification is desirable.
• Experience supporting children or young people with SEND.
• Experience working with learners disengaged from education.
• Strong ability to adapt lessons to individual learning needs.
• Creative, patient and flexible teaching approach.
• Experience supporting learners with ASC, ADHD, SEMH, MLD or related needs is highly desirable.

Responsibilities
