Job summary

Prospero Teaching is seeking a SEND Tutor to deliver personalised 1:1 tuition to students with SEND in Wrexham. The role offers 5–15 hours per week with an ongoing contract, starting September 2026.

Applicants should have QTS/PGCE or equivalent or significant tutoring experience, plus experience with SEND and EHCPs. Strong communication and adaptability are essential for supporting individual learning needs.

Qualifications

• Qualified teacher with QTS or PGCE, or substantial tutoring experience.
• Experience supporting children with SEND and EHCPs.
• Proven ability to deliver 1:1 tutoring and adapt to learner needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide personalised 1:1 SEND tutoring.
• Adapt lessons to learners' needs and learning styles.
• Work with families and schools as needed.
• Maintain DBS compliance and safeguarding practices.
