Job summary

Prospero Teaching in Sefton is recruiting a dedicated SEND Tutor to provide personalised 1:1 tuition for children and young people who require additional support. You will adapt sessions to each learner’s needs, helping them progress academically, socially and personally.

The ideal candidate will have experience supporting SEND, SEMH, autism or ADHD, strong communication skills, and the ability to create a calm, engaging learning environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience supporting children or young people with SEND
• Teaching, tutoring or mentoring experience
• Experience supporting SEMH, Autism, ADHD or other additional needs
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Patient and adaptable approach to learning

Responsibilities

• Provide personalised 1:1 tuition tailored to each learner's needs
