Job summary

Prospero Teaching is seeking a committed SEND Tutor to deliver personalised 1:1 tuition to pupils in or around South Benfleet who have additional learning and behavioural needs.

Deliver tailored one-to-one sessions, support core subjects including Maths, English and Science, and monitor progress to provide feedback to parents/carers. The role offers flexible working arrangements and an opportunity to make a real difference.

Qualifications

• QTS or equivalent teaching qualification or relevant learning support experience.
• Previous experience teaching or tutoring students.
• Strong understanding of the PMY/SEC curriculum.

Responsibilities

• Deliver tailored one-to-one tuition sessions based on each student's individual needs.
• Provide support in core subjects including Maths, English, and Science.
• Encourage confidence, independence, and effective study habits.
• Monitor student progress and provide feedback to parents/carers where required.
