Prospero Teaching is seeking a SEND Tutor in South Tyneside, England to support a 14-year-old with ASD, ADHD, and related needs. The role involves one-to-one tutoring up to 10 hours per week, tailoring lessons to EHCP requirements, and reporting on progress while ensuring a caring, attachment-aware approach.

Experience with SEND/SEMH, reading EHCP recommendations, and patience in working with vulnerable learners is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering 1-to-1 SEND/SEMH tutoring is essential.
• Ability to read and implement EHCP recommendations, including Section F details.

Responsibilities

• Build a rapport with the young person.
• Tailor lessons to their needs.
• Mark sessional attendance.
• Complete weekly reports.
• Complete an Individual Learning Plan (ILP).
