Job summary

AP Education are recruiting dedicated SEND Tutors to deliver 1:1 support in Norwich, Norfolk. You will work with learners with SEND/SEMH across Early Years to KS4, providing Maths, English, Science or SEND-specific sessions, with term-time only hours and a weekly pay cycle.

Applicants with QTS or HLTA are preferred, but two years UK experience in education or therapeutic settings will be considered. Join a supportive team with ongoing CPD and a streamlined onboarding process.

Qualifications

• Proven experience teaching or tutoring children with SEND/SEMH requirements.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Compassionate, dependable and initiative-taking mindset.

Responsibilities

• Provide face-to-face 1:1 support for learners from Early Years to KS4.
• Deliver core subjects or SEND-specific sessions.
• Implement positive behaviour management and patient approaches.
• Prepare progress reports and liaise with external professionals as needed.
• Support learners in transitioning to mainstream or specialist settings.
