Job summary

Vision for Education are seeking a SEND Teaching Assistant to work in a specialist setting in Gainsborough. The role focuses on providing 1:1 support for pupils with complex needs and assisting with personalised learning plans.

The successful candidate will have experience in SEN, a calm and nurturing disposition, and the ability to support KS1 to KS5 learners in an inclusive classroom environment. Training and safeguarding checks will be undertaken as part of registration.

Qualifications

• Experience in a special needs setting or knowledge of SEN required.
• Understanding of KS1 to KS5.
• Ability to create an inclusive classroom where all pupils thrive.
• Excellent communication skills and a calm, nurturing approach.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils with special educational needs to access learning.
• Assist in delivering high-quality teaching and learning in a specialist setting.
• Work closely with teachers to implement individual education plans.
