Job summary

Keys Group is offering a part-time, fixed-term 1:1 SEND support role at The Keys Academy Trust, starting soon. The position involves supporting a pupil with SEND across English and Maths, delivering personalised interventions and using visual timetables and routines to aid engagement.

You will contribute to emotional wellbeing and maintain a calm, caring approach. The role is 29 hours 10 minutes per week, with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break, and runs Monday to Friday, 08:30 to 15:20.

Responsibilities

• Support a pupil with Special Educational Needs and/or disabilities in a dedicated 1:1 role across learning areas, focusing on core subjects like English and Maths.
• Deliver personalised interventions and adapt tasks to meet individual needs using visual timetables, sensory strategies and structured routines.
• Support pupils' emotional wellbeing through regulation strategies and provide pastoral care to create a safe, inclusive learning environment.
• Build strong relationships with pupils, maintain high expectations, and communicate effectively to support progress and development.
