Job summary

Teaching Personnel in Haywards Heath is seeking a dedicated Child Supervisor to support primary pupils with additional learning needs on a full-time, temporary-to-permanent basis. You will provide consistent 1:1 support to boys throughout the day, helping access education and stay engaged in a nurturing setting.

The role requires a DBS check, willingness to drive, and a full UK driving licence due to location.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting children with SEND is preferred.
• Enhanced DBS check required or willing to obtain.
• Full-time commitment Mon-Fri.

Responsibilities

• Provide consistent 1:1 support to primary-aged boys with learning needs.
• Assist during lessons and transitions around the school.
• Support educational visits and promote safety and inclusion.
• Collaborate with teachers and support staff to implement tailored strategies.
• Encourage positive behaviour and social development.
