Job summary

Huntingtower Community Primary Academy is seeking a Temporary Enhanced Support Assistant (1:1 SEND) to provide focused support for pupils with additional needs. The role runs mornings only, from 8.50am to 12.10pm, with potential extra lunch cover hours.

Applicants must have GCSE English and Maths (A–C) and a Level 3 qualification or be willing to work towards one. DBS clearance and eligibility to work in the UK are required.

Qualifications

• GCSE English and Maths at grades A to C.
• Level 3 qualification, or willingness to work towards one.
• Enhanced DBS check.
• Eligibility to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• One-to-one support for pupils with SEND.
• Help pupils access the curriculum in and outside the classroom.
• Support pupils' academic and social development.
• Provide lunch cover for some pupils, with additional hours claimed monthly.
