Job summary

Classroom Recruiters is seeking dedicated 1:1 Nurture Tutors to support young people with SEND. Roles typically run 9am–3pm, 3–5 days per week, with long-term placements across an academic year.

You may work at home or in community settings, driving to learners’ homes or learning centres as needed. Ideal candidates bring patience, adaptability and a nurturing approach, plus strong communication skills and a valid UK driving licence.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting children or young people, ideally those with SEND or additional needs.
• A patient, adaptable and nurturing approach.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 nurture support to a young person with SEND.
• Deliver sessions at home or community settings as required.
• Help develop confidence, engagement and readiness to learn.
• Build consistent, long-term relationships with learners and families.
