Job summary

Quantum Scholars is expanding its Somerset tutoring team and seeks SEND Specialist Tutors for personalized 1:1 tuition. Tutors are needed for children with varying additional needs, including SEND, ASC, ADHD, and more. This role offers the flexibility to work around your schedule, with competitive hourly rates and ongoing referrals throughout the academic year.

Qualifications

• Experience with children or young people with SEND is essential.
• Teaching or tutoring experience in primary and/or secondary education.
• Flexible and adaptive teaching approach.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 tuition to children unable to access mainstream education.
• Build positive relationships and adapt teaching methods.
• Support learners' individual needs and confidence.

Skills

Experience working with children with SEND

Experience teaching in primary/secondary education

Enhanced DBS certification
