Job summary

Academics Ltd in Leigh-on-Sea is seeking an Experienced SEND Learning Support Assistant for a part-time role. You will provide 1:1 support to a Year 3 pupil with an EHCP, working Monday to Friday from 8:30am to 12:00pm.

Starting 2nd November, the position may extend into longer-term or permanent opportunities for the right candidate. The ideal candidate will have prior SEND experience in a primary school, be patient, nurturing, and capable of adapting approaches to individual needs, while

Qualifications

• Experience supporting children with SEND in a primary school setting.
• Patient, nurturing and able to build positive, trusting relationships with pupils.
• Able to adapt approach to meet individual learning and developmental needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 support to a Year 3 pupil with an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP).
• Support the class teacher and wider school team.
• Help the pupil reach their full potential in a supportive environment.
