Job summary

Academics Ltd is working with a lovely primary school in Leigh-on-Sea to recruit a dedicated SEND Learning Support Assistant to provide 1:1 support for a Year 3 pupil with an EHCP.

The role is part-time, Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 12:00pm, starting 2nd November after half-term, with initial duration until Christmas and a strong possibility of longer-term or permanent placement for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• Has previous experience supporting children with SEND in a primary school setting.
• Patient, nurturing, able to build positive, trusting relationships with pupils.
• Able to adapt approach to meet individual learning and developmental needs.
• Proactive, reliable and passionate about helping children reach their full potential.
• Works well alongside the class teacher and wider school team.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 support to a Year 3 pupil with an EHCP.
• Support pupil's learning, development and confidence in the classroom.
• Collaborate with the class teacher and school team to implement learning plans.

Are you a compassionate, patient and experienced SEND Learning Support Assistant looking for your next opportunity?

I'm working closely with a lovely primary school in Leigh-on-Sea who are looking for a dedicated SEND LSA to provide 1:1 support to a Year 3 pupil with an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP).

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about making a real difference to a child's learning, development and confidence in a supportive primary school environment.

The Role:

• Location: Leigh-on-Sea

• Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:30am-12:00pm
