Job summary

Keys Education is recruiting for a role within its East Heckington provision to support learners with SEND and SEMH. The post focuses on delivering tailored 1:1 interventions, alongside assisting teachers and the SEND team to meet EHCP outcomes.

You'll work in specialist classrooms with small groups, following a trauma-informed approach and contributing to a safe, nurturing environment. Relevant qualifications and experience are valued, with strong commitment to safeguarding.

Qualifications

• Commitment to supporting students with SEND and SEMH.
• Minimum of two years’ SEND experience.
• Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Deliver targeted interventions and record data for colleagues.
• Collaborate with SENDCo and EHCP outcomes under guidance.
• Work with teaching staff and external professionals.
• Support activities and promote pupil engagement and independence.
• Monitor pupil progress and maintain records.
• Support social, emotional, and behavioural development using trauma-informed approaches.
• Promote EPIC values and uphold Staff Code of Conduct.
• Ensure compliance with Independent School Standards and health & safety.
