Job summary

Endeavour Multi Academy Trust is partnering with Smile Education to recruit a dedicated Teaching Assistant for a pupil returning to school on a part-time basis this Autumn. The role is 1:1, classroom-based and supported by a multidisciplinary team, with potential to continue until July 2027.

The successful candidate will work closely with the class teacher to deliver tailored activities, support the pupil’s wellbeing, and assist with personal care if needed.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering 1:1 support to a child with additional needs.
• Qualifications in TA/childcare preferred (Level 2/3).
• Experience with complex needs and ability to work with a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Provide dedicated 1:1 support to the pupil.
• Deliver engaging activities to support learning and development.
• Collaborate with the class teacher and wider team.
• Support emotional, educational and physical wellbeing throughout the day.
• Assist with personal care as required and follow medical procedures when trained.
