Job summary

Teaching Personnel in Huddersfield, West Yorkshire invites applications for a Part-Time 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils across EYFS and Primary. You will work 1:1 and in small groups, promoting positive behaviour and assisting with SEN-specific learning programmes, with daily hours 8:15 to 15:30 and weekly pay.

Experience with KS1/KS2 and a Level 2 childcare qualification is preferred but not mandatory; safeguarding checks including Enhanced DBS are required.

Qualifications

• Experience working 1:1 with SEN students.
• Experience within the Primary Sector and KS1/KS2 curriculum knowledge.
• Level 2 childcare qualification preferred but not mandatory.
• Committed to promoting progression of pupils learning.

Responsibilities

• Support learning and teaching across the primary age range.
• Deliver specific support programmes for pupils with SEN.
• Promote positive behaviour.
• Help create a welcoming and trouble-free environment.
• Keep track of the progress of pupils.
• Work one to one and with small groups to provide additional support.
