Job summary

Randstad NV is seeking a dedicated 1:1 Teaching Assistant to support KS1 and KS2 pupils at a specialist school in Haywards Heath. The role is full-time, Monday to Friday, with 08:15-16:00 hours and a focus on individual learning and emotional support.

You will work within a supportive team, using modern resources and technologies, and contribute to a nurturing, OFSTED-acclaimed environment that helps pupils build confidence and develop skills.

Qualifications

• 6–12 months teaching assistant experience or equivalent (desirable).
• Maths and English GCSE or equivalent (desirable).
• Eligibility to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Supporting KS1– KS2 learners on a 1:1, small group and classroom basis
• Communicating with parents and carers about pupils' progress; participating in departmental meetings, parents' evenings and whole school training events
