Job summary

Long Term Futures Ltd is seeking an experienced 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant to join an inclusive primary school in Halesowen. You will provide dedicated 1:1 support to pupils across KS1 and KS2 with a range of needs, including ASD, ADHD and complex communication requirements.

You will work closely with class teachers, the SENCO and support team to enable learning, communication and emotional regulation, building confidence and independence for each pupil. DBS and two references are required.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering 1:1 SEN support in primary or specialist setting.
• Experience with ASD/ADHD and complex needs.
• Calm, patient, and consistent approach with good behavioural management.
• Enhanced DBS and two references required.

Responsibilities

• Provide dedicated 1:1 SEN support to pupils across KS1 and KS2.
• Support pupils with ASD, ADHD and complex needs.
• Adapt classroom activities to suit individual learning and communication needs.
• Assist with emotional regulation and independence.
• Collaborate with teachers, the SENCO and support staff.
