Vision for Education is seeking a compassionate 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant for a mainstream primary school in Ely. You will provide one-to-one support to a pupil with SEN, helping them access learning and build confidence within a welcoming classroom environment.

The role focuses on adapting activities, supporting emotional regulation and working with the SENCO to meet EHCP targets, while promoting independence and social interaction.

Competenze

• Patient, nurturing and empathetic approach to supporting children with SEN.
• Experience supporting children with SEN in school, care, or similar settings.
• Ability to build strong, trusting relationships with students, staff and families.
• Calm, resilient and adaptable personality to handle dynamic classroom needs.
• Passion for making a meaningful impact for children with additional needs.

Mansioni

• Provide tailored 1:1 support for a pupil with SEN (e.g., ASD, ADHD or other needs).
• Adapt learning activities to meet individual needs and support development.
• Assist with emotional regulation and implement positive behaviour strategies.
• Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to implement EHCP targets.
• Encourage independence, engagement and social interaction in the learning environment.
