Job summary

Thrive Group is recruiting two enthusiastic 1:1 Teaching Assistants for a warm, inclusive primary special school in Wavertree. You will support a pupil 1:1 in the classroom and through targeted interventions, helping them build confidence, communication and independence in a calm learning environment.

The ideal candidate will have SEN experience, be patient and a strong communicator, with a flexible, creative approach.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children with SEN in primary or special school.
• Patience, empathy and excellent communication.
• Flexibility and creativity in supporting learning.
• Commitment to inclusion and helping every child reach potential.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 support for a pupil with SEN needs.
• Assist planning and delivering differentiated lessons.
• Implement individual education plans and behaviour strategies.
• Create a positive, nurturing learning environment.
• Collaborate with teachers, therapists and parents.
