Job summary

Qualifications

• Passionate about supporting children with Special Educational Needs.
• Experience in SEND or related environments is desirable but not essential.
• Good communication, patience and reliability are important.

Responsibilities

• Providing dedicated 1:1 support throughout the school day.
• Helping pupils access learning and activities.
• Supporting communication, emotional regulation and positive behaviour.
• Encouraging independence, confidence and social development.
• Supporting transitions and changes in routine.
• Adapting activities to meet individual needs.
• Working closely with teachers, SENCOs, therapists and families.
• Providing personal care support where required.
