Job summary

Tradewind Recruitment is assisting a welcoming 2-form entry primary school in Watford, Hertfordshire to appoint a dedicated Teaching Assistant to support a Year 1 pupil 1:1. This full-time role offers a positive, supportive environment and competitive daily pay.

The ideal candidate will have SEN/SEMH experience; a Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification is preferred but not essential. Start ASAP for a minimum term of one term, with ongoing potential depending on pupil progress.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting pupils with SEN/SEMH needs.
• Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification is preferred but not essential.
• Calm, patient and resilient mindset with genuine passion for supporting children.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 learning support for a Year 1 pupil.
• Support access to the curriculum and classroom activities.
• Assist with behaviour management and positive pupil relationships.
