Job summary

Outcomes First Group is seeking an Unqualified Teacher for our Bespoke program at Newmead Farm, Maiden Bradley. The role focuses on education, pastoral support and real-world preparation for adulthood, with 1:1 student support offsite within the local community, workplaces and colleges.

You will help students access meaningful learning, gain qualifications and develop confidence, independence and employability skills for success beyond school. Start October 2026.

Qualifications

• GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths.
• Full manual driving licence required.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to build effective relationships with students.
• Commitment to safeguarding and trauma-informed practice.

Responsibilities

• Plan, deliver and support learning activities within the community.
• Support students undertaking vocational, functional skills and employability qualifications.
• Help young people develop workplace behaviours, communication skills, independence and confidence.
• Support work experience, community placements and transition programmes.
• Promote positive behaviour, emotional regulation and engagement in learning.
• Contribute to EHCP outcomes, behaviour support plans and individual learning targets.
• Work alongside teachers, therapists, families and external agencies.
• Maintain accurate records and contribute to student reviews and progress monitoring.
• Support student wellbeing, safeguarding and health and safety at all times.
