Job summary

Aspire People Limited are recruiting for a 1:1 Teaching Assistant to support pupils with SEMH needs in a Grantham, Lincolnshire school. This full-time temp-to-perm role starts immediately and runs 08:30 - 15:30, working 1:1 with students with various learning difficulties and special educational needs.

The ideal candidate will have resilience, energy and a passion for education, with recent experience working with children and young people, including SEND/SEMH.

Qualifications

• Recent experience working with children and young people, especially those with SEND/SEMH.
• High level of resilience and energy.
• Passion for education and safeguarding commitment.

Responsibilities

• Promote inclusion and acceptance of all students.
• Support pupils consistently whilst responding to their individual needs.
• Create a safe learning environment for pupils.
• De-escalate behavior that challenges through the formation of trusting relationships.
