Job summary

Protocol Education is seeking an Experienced Learning Support Assistant in Bristol to provide 1:1 and group support for pupils across KS1 and KS2. You will help children approach each school day with confidence and engagement, building trust and supporting those with SEND.

Experienced Learning Support Assistant

Primary school's across Bristol are looking for dedicated and experiecned 1:1 Learning Support Assistants to provide tailored support for pupils across KS1 and KS2.

Youu'll build strong, trusting relationships with children, helping them approach each school day with confidence, stability, and positive encouragement

Some children don't need someone to do the work for them. They need someone who believes in them, understands how they learn, and gives them the confidence to shine.

Your responsbilities will include:

• Supporting pupils on a 1:1 basis and in small groups.
• Assisting teachers with classroom activities and lesson delivery.
• Encouraging pupils' confidence, independence, and engagement.
• Supporting children with additional needs, including Autism, ADHD, SEMH, Speech and Langauge and other SEND.
• Promoting positive behaviour and creating an inclusive learning environment.
• Building strong relationships with pupils, staff, and parents

We are looking for candidates who:

• Haveexperience working with children or young people in a school, SEND, care, youth work, or similar setting.
• Are passionate about supporting children's learning and wellbeing.
• Have excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Are patient, reliable, and adaptable.
• Hold an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or are willing to apply.
