Protocol Education is seeking a 1:1 Learning Support Assistant to start ASAP.

We are looking for a confident, caring support assistant to work with young adults with complex needs to access Specialist Further Education by delivering tailored courses, incorporating specialist support and guidance.

Programs are delivered in various settings, including students’ homes, work placements, social activities, leisure settings, and with additional providers. All programs aim to identify and develop meaningful skills for vocational pathways.

You will work closely with students, considering personal preferences and choices. Programs may include activities like fishing, sports, computers, farming, cooking, welding, and forestry.

This outreach role requires a driving license and a car; mileage will be reimbursed at 35p per mile.

The role is Monday to Friday, 8:30 am – 3:30 pm, with 28 days of annual leave including bank holidays.

Pay rates include 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This is a temporary position, with potential for permanent placement later.
