Protocol Education is seeking a 1:1 Learning Support Assistant to start ASAP!
A thriving provision in Havering is looking for a confident, caring support assistant to work with young adults with complex needs to access Specialist Further Education by delivering tailored courses, incorporating specialist support and guidance.
Programs are delivered in various settings, including students' homes, work placements, social activities, leisure settings, and with additional providers as needed. All programs aim to identify and promote meaningful skills development to support individuals’ vocational pathways.
You will work closely with students to include their personal preferences and choices. Programs may include activities like fishing, sports, computers, farming, cooking, welding, and forestry.
As this is an outreach role, a driving license and car are required. Mileage will be reimbursed at 35p per mile.
This role is Monday to Friday, 8:30 am – 3:30 pm, with 28 days of annual leave including bank holidays.

Pay rates include statutory holiday pay. This is a temporary position, with potential to become permanent later.
