Akeley Wood Junior School in Milton Keynes is seeking a Learning Support Assistant 1:1 to support children with additional needs within the Early Years team. The role offers a fixed-term contract until August 2027 and term-time only hours, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

You will work under the Inclusion Lead and Class Teachers to provide tailored provision inside and outside the classroom, helping develop academic and social outcomes for pupils.

Formación

• Experience in an educational setting is preferred.
• Ability to work closely with a teaching team.
• Effective communication with children and families is essential.

Responsabilidades

• Support students with additional needs under guidance of the SENCo and teachers.
• Deliver predetermined activities to aid learning and development.
• Assist with social, emotional and academic progress in class and isious areas.
• Promote positive behaviour and follow school policies.
