Job summary

Protocol Education Limited is seeking a dedicated 1:1 Inclusion Support Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in the Kingswood area. You will support a Year 6 pupil with ASD and anxiety, helping her build confidence and resilience throughout her final year of primary education.

The role involves 1:1 support inside and outside the classroom, promoting inclusion, monitoring wellbeing, and working closely with teachers, SEND staff and parents.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting children with SEND, ASD or SEMH.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
• Right to work in the UK.

A welcoming primary school is seeking a dedicated 1:1 Inclusion Support Assistant to support a Year 6 pupil with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). This is a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful difference in a child's final year of primary school, helping her develop the confidence, resilience and self-belief needed to flourish both now and as she prepares for secondary education.

The pupil is a friendly and capable young person who experiences high levels of anxiety and low self-esteem. She needs a patient, understanding adult who can provide consistent encouragement, build a positive relationship and create opportunities for success throughout the school day.

The Role

• Enhanced Child Workforce DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
