Job summary

Uniform Education is seeking a qualified QTS/QTLS English teacher to deliver 1:1 tuition to students across Harrow during term time. The role covers English Language and Literature KS3–KS4, personalising lessons to each learner and supporting literacy and communication skills.

Sessions are typically in the student’s home (with a parent present) or at local libraries, run 9am–4pm Monday to Friday. Start date is ASAP; pay is £30–£45 per hour plus paid PPA time, with risk assessments completed

Qualifications

• 1:1 tutoring experience delivering English lessons to learners.
• Strong subject knowledge in English Language and Literature (KS3–KS4).
• Ability to personalise lessons to individual learning needs.
• Patient, empathetic and adaptable teaching style.

Responsibilities

• Deliver 1:1 English tuition to students across Harrow during term-time hours.
